About the Firm/Founder
Edrius D. Stagg is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Stagg Law Firm, LLC, a Louisiana-based practice grounded in faith, integrity, advocacy, and community. His firm provides comprehensive legal services in labor and employment law, real estate, wills and successions, family law, expungements, Child in Need of Care (CINC) matters, and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) consultation for high school and collegiate athletes. Through these practice areas, Attorney Stagg delivers compassionate, strategic representation that respects the dignity and values of every client.
Attorney Stagg began his legal career at Reed Smith LLP, where he developed his skills in labor and employment litigation, strategy, and client advocacy. He is currently barred to practice law in Washington, D.C. Prior to law, Attorney Stagg spent over two decades with AT&T, gaining experience in corporate leadership, workforce management, and strategic operations. He is also the Founder of Homes by Stagg, LLC — a real estate boutique designed to help families realize their dream of becoming a homeowner. This combination of business insight, legal expertise, and entrepreneurial experience informs his practical, solution-oriented approach.
In his practice, Attorney Stagg helps employees and employers navigate discrimination, retaliation, wage disputes, and compliance issues; assists families and professionals with real estate, estate planning, and successions; and provides guidance in family law, expungements, and CINC matters. He also advises student-athletes on NIL contracts, compliance, and branding, empowering young clients and their families to make informed, values-based decisions.
Committed to mentorship, service, and community, Attorney Stagg guides aspiring attorneys and summer associates while building partnerships between local schools and parish leadership. Known for his professionalism, faith, and service-oriented leadership, his ultimate goal is to serve as a judge, bringing a balanced, principled perspective to the bench. Attorney Stagg graduated from Southern University Law Center (magna cum laude) and is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. Outside the office, he devotes time to family, faith, and community outreach, exemplifying perseverance, preparation, and purpose.
